The Music of “The Artist” won an Oscar

Last year’s collaboration with composer Ludovic Bource proved very successful. After months of receiving prestigious awards all over the globe, last week the silent film “The Artist” won 5 Oscars, among which Best Achievement in Music Written for Motion Pictures, Original Score, as already predicted by some critics. Vladimir Nikolov orchestrated a large part of the music in this film, precisely 20 minutes of it, including the following titles in the Original Motion Picture Soundtrack: “The Artist Overture”, “George Valentin”, “Fantaisie d’Amour”, “Waltz for Peppy”, “Comme une Rosée de Larmes” and “1931”.
