This composition was performed by the Pophorn Big Band in Helsinki, Finland, 2004 (European Jazz Union project). The marvelous players that you will hear are lead by Vellu Halkosalmi, a great composer and arranger from Finland, and one of the participants in the Arrangers Workshop 2003 with the Metropole Orchestra in the Netherlands. |

This one is a prize-winning Big Band arrangement of the very well-known Thelonious Monk composition (see Prizes), also performed by the Big Band of the Amsterdam Conservatory. Soloists are: Israel Moreno (vibraphone) and Soon Yong Lee (double bass). |

“Closely” is a composition written for the Project Band ensemble established in Macedonia in 1998, together with my dear friend composer and pianist, Aleksandar Pejovski and cellist Dragan Gonevski (presently entitled - Trojka). |
